Woven: 6 – 10 g/l
Knitted: 6 – 10 g/l
Yarn: 6 - 10 g/l 

Pre-treated fabric:
Dry: 3 – 6 g/l
Wet: 1 – 4 g/l

Leomine Disperse XPD is resistant to acids, alkalis and electrolytes even at high temperatures.  
Compatibility
Leomine Disperse XPD is compatible with anionic and non-ionic auxiliaries. Precipitation may occur if applied along with cationic products.
Application
Leomine Disperse XPD can be dissolved in 10 to 20 times its quantity in cold or hot water under stirring till the solids are dissolved.
Disperse dyes: Leomine Disperse XPD can be used as dispersing agent in dyeing polyester, cellulose acetate and triacetate with disperse dyes. Recommended dosage Approx. 0.5 – 2 g/l Leomine Disperse XPD. Disperse dyes usually contain insufficient quantities of dispersing agents as diluents. The amount of Leomine Disperse XPD required depends on source of the disperse dyes . However adding Leomine Disperse XPD becomes important with liquid dyes that do not contain much dispersing agents, A higher dosage of Leomine Disperse XPD will be required when dyeing is carried out in short liquors in order to ensure a stable dye dispersion throughout the dyeing process. This will overcome the greater risk of dyestuff agglomeration. Leomine Disperse XPD both stabilizes the dye dispersion during the dyeing process. and prevents agglomeration of dye particles remaining in the dye bath as it cools down.
Vat dyes: Stock vat : The stability of stock vats can be considerably improved by adding approx. 5 – 10 g/l Leomine Disperse XPD. The product must be added to the dye dispersion before it is vatted. Jigger dyeing : Approx. 2 g/l Leomine Disperse XPD is added to improve the stability of the dye liquor. The product prevents vat acid stains. Package dyeing machine or winch dyeing: Approx. 1 – 3 g/l Leomine Disperse XPD is added to prevent precipitation and filtration of the dyes.Pad-steam process : Approx. 2 g/l Leomine Disperse XPD in the chemical padder prevents agglomeration of dye particles in the liquor. After steaming, Leomine Disperse XPD facilitates removal of the unfixed dye leading to level dyeing. The presence of Leomine Disperse XPD is especially important during the oxidation of vat dyes. It prevents agglomeration and filtration of the newly formed insoluble pigments in the oxidation bath.

Exhaust process
  • Fabrics can be treated with Leomine Softener HDS in circulating-liquor machines, winch becks and jet machines.

  • Liquor ratio: 10 : 1 – 20 : 1 Time: 30 min Temperature: 30 – 45 °C pH: 5.0
Padding process:
Leomine Softener HDS is applied by padding at room temperature. The liquor pickup is:

Leomine Additive BFE gets de-activated at a temperature of 80° C if held for 10 minutes.

Application
Dyeing of Polyester in alkaline medium with alkaline pH suitable dyes: 0.5 – 2 g/l Leomine Level PEL, 0.5 – 1.5 g/l Leomine Disperse XPD, pH 8.5 – 9.5

Heat the dye bath to 125 –135°C and dye the goods for 30 – 60 minutes at this temperature. Observe dyestuff suppliers recommendations.

Heat the dye bath to 125 –135°C and dye the goods for 20 – 60 minutes at this temperature. The heating-up rate, the dyeing temperature and the dyeing time in the HT phase depend on the depth of shade, the circulation of the liquor or movement of the textile material, and the type of material being dyed.

Leomine Level PEL can be added directly to warm dye bath (approx. 600C) before adding the dyes .

Application
It is emulsified by stirring it into ten times its own volume of cold water. The following additions are made to the warm dyebath(50 – 60 °C) in the order given below : 0.5 – 2 % Leomine Level PES, 0.5 –1.5 g/l Leomine Disperse XPD, 0.5 g/l Leomine Extract CST (optional), pH 4.5 – 5 (with acetic acid or Leomine Buffer DBC) ... % disperse dye. Pre-treat the material with the auxiliaries at the specified initial temperature for several minutes. Then add the disperse dye, check the pH for adjustment. If necessary heat the dye bath to 125°C – 135°C and dye the goods for 20 – 60 minutes at this temperature. The heating-up rate, the dyeing temperature and the dyeing time in the HT phase depend on the depth of shade, the circulation of the liquor or movement of the textile material, and the type of material being dyed.

Application
Sequence of Print paste preparation under high speed stirring: Water ---> Antifoam (Leomine Antifoam TCP) ---> Leomine Binder BT ---> Leomine Fixing agent LFF ---> Leomine Soft LIG / Leomine Multifunction SFL ---> Leomine Thickener HSL ---> Pigments (Leomine PD series).pH of the print paste to be maintained at 8.

Water used should be of average hardness and adjusted to following viscosity: Aqueous Printing - Approx. 80 dPas*. Low solvent Printing – 60 - 70 dPas*. *Measured with Haake Viscotester VT 02.

Fixation: Hot-air fixation produces the optimum standard of fastness. The following temperatures and dwell times are recommended: 4-5 min at 150°C or 2-3 min at 160-170°C.

Superheated steam fixation should be carried out for 5 - 7 min at a minimum of 160°C.This method also produces a good standard of fastness but somewhat inferior to that of prints fixed with hot air.

The concentration of the size liquor depends on the yarn count, warp setting, yarn quality, machine conditions and weaving requirements To ensure consistent sizing results, it is advisable to boil the size solution (> 90 °C) for 30 minutes or more under low speed stirring until it becomes a homogeneous liquid. Leomine Size SSC should be added slowly into the water to avoid the formation of lumps. Addition of softener can be done if needed:

For Lubrication and anti-stat in Size mix : 1 – 2 % Leomine Wax ASE on weight of size mix

Storage
Leomine Binder BT has a shelf life of atleast one year if stored in its tightly sealed original packing at temperatures between 5°C and 35°C in a dry place. Drums should be tightly resealed each time the material is taken from them, and their contents should be used up as soon as possible after they have been opened. It is recommended to cover the print paste with plastic cover if stored for prolonged periods.

Stability
The pH of the stock paste should be maintained at 8.0. Adjustment of pH should be done with Liq. Ammonia.

Application
Sequence of Print paste preparation under high speed stirring: 

Water --->Antifoam (Leomine Antifoam TCP)--->Leomine Binder BT--->Leomine Fixing agent LFF--->Leomine Soft LIG--->Leomine Thickener HSL--->Pigments (Leomine PD series)

pH of the print paste to be maintained at 8.

Water used should be of average hardness and adjusted to following viscosity: Aqueous Printing - Approx. 80 dPas*, Low solvent Printing – 60 - 70 dPas*, *Measured with Haake Viscotester VT 02

Fixation:
Hot-air fixation produces the optimum standard of fastness. The following temperatures and dwell times are recommended: 4-5 min at 150°C or 2-3 min at 160-170°C.

Superheated steam fixation should be carried out for 5 - 7 min at a minimum of 160°C.
This method also produces a good standard of fastness but somewhat inferior to that of prints fixed with hot air.

In order to reduce viscosity of paste containing Leomine Thickener HSL, stir in small amounts of aqueous solution containing diammonium phosphate or ammonium sulphate.

Leomine Size SSF has a shelf life of atleast one year if stored in its tightly sealed original packing at temperatures between 5 0C and 35 0C in a dry place. Bags should be tightly resealed each time the material is taken from them, and their contents should be used up as soon as possible after they have been opened.

Stability

Compatibility
Leomine Size SSF is compatible with most chemicals used in sizing process. Readily undergoes de-sizing with enzymes employed for de-sizing

Application:

Leomine Size SSF can be used directly or in combination with starch and other sizing chemicals

The following size pickups are recommended :

  • Upto 30s count: 10% of Leomine Size SSF 
  • 40s count: 12% of Leomine Size SSF
  • Above 40s count: 15% of Leomine Size SSF 
Note: The concentration of the size liquor depends on the yarn count, warp setting, yarn quality, machine conditions and weaving requirements.

To ensure consistent sizing results, it is advisable to boil the size solution (> 90 °C) for 30 minutes or more under low speed stirring until it becomes a homogeneous liquid. Leomine Size SSF should be added slowly into the water to avoid the formation of lumps.

Addition of softener is recommended : 

For Lubrication and anti-stat in Size mix : 1 – 2 % Leomine Wax ASE on weight of size mix

For After waxing : 1 – 3 % Leomine Wax AWA on weight of the yarn

Application
Leomine Wash XDJ can be used in a variety of applications at all stages of pre-treatment process of textiles containing cellulosic, polyester and its blends specially in machines in which the liquor is subjected to high turbulence.

Since Leomine Wash XDJ is a concentrated product, very small quantities are required for pre-scouring, boiling-off, bleaching in long liquors and soaping off after dyeing.

Boiling-off cotton knit-goods in Jet dying machines: 0.5 - 1 % Leomine Wash XDJ, 1 – 3 % Caustic Soda 100%, 1 – 2.5% Leomine Extract SDE, Liquor ratio : 1 : 7 – 1 : 10, Temperature : 90 - 100°C, Reaction time : 20 to 30 minutes

Bleaching cotton knit-goods in Jet dying machines: 0.5 - 1 % Leomine Wash XDJ, 2 – 4 % Hydrogen Peroxide 50%, 1 % Caustic Soda 100%, 1% Leomine Stabilizer PSL, Liquor ratio : 1 : 7 – 1 : 10, Temperature : 90 - 100°C, Reaction time : 40 to 60 minutes.
