Drums should be tightly resealed each time the material is taken from them, and their contents should be used up as soon as possible after they have been opened. Do not expose to direct sunlight.

Ionicity: Non-ionic
Stability
Has tendency to dry on prolonged exposure to atmosphere but can be re-dispersed with addition of water and stirring.
Compatibility
Leomine Whitener LNI is compatible with anionic, cationic and non-ionic auxiliaries.
Safety
When using this product, the information and advice given in our Material Safety Data Sheet should be observed. Due attention should also be given to the precautions necessary for handling chemicals.
Application
Leomine Whitener LNI should be thoroughly stirred before application. Recommended application recipes:
Exhaust Process:
  • 0.1-0.5% Leomine Whitener LNI
  • 0.5-1 g/1 Leomine Disperse XPD
  • pH 4.5-5.5 (Acetic acid)
  • Liquor ratio 1 : 5 to 1 : 20
  • Initial temperature : 50-60°C
  • Heat up to 100°C in 30 min
  • 30-45 min at 100°C
  • The addition of Leomine Disperse XPD is particularly necessary in the fluorescent brightening of wound packages.
Thermosol process, two-stage drying and fixation:
  • 0.5-5 g/l Leomine Whitener LNI
  • Liquor pick-up : approx.60-70%
  • Dry : approx. 120°C
  • Thermosol : 180-200°C
  • Time : 30-45 sec
The fixation conditions depend on the fabric construction. Tightly woven and relatively heavy qualities require longer fixation times or higher fixation temperatures than lightweight open materials. The padded and dried fabric should be protected from prolonged exposure to light because the unfixed fluorescent brightener is sensitive to light.
Single - stage drying and fixation
In this procedure, the equipment used has a considerable influence on the fixation time and temperature. Empirical values are therefore more reliable than general recommendations. In case of doubt, it is advisable to carry out preliminary trials. The amount of Leomine Whitener LNI used is the same as in the two-stage drying and fixation process.
Fixation process for the fluorescent brightening of printed grounds:
The fluorescent brightening of printed grounds is frequently carried out in conjunction with the thermosol process. Knitgoods produced from texturized PES can also brightened by the HT process.

Safety: When using this product, the information and advice given in our Material Safety Data Sheet should be observed. Due attention should also be given to the precautions necessary for handling chemicals.
Application: Sequence of Print paste preparation under high speed stirring: Water --->Antifoam (Leomine Antifoam TCP) ---> Leomine Binder BT ---> Leomine Fixing agent LFF ---> Leomine Soft LIG ---> Leomine Thickener HSL ---> Pigments (Leomine PD series). pH of the print paste to be maintained at 8. Water used should be of average hardness and adjusted to following viscosity: Aqueous Printing - Approx. 80 dPas*. Low solvent Printing – 60 - 70 dPas*.*Measured with Haake Viscotester VT 02.
Fixation: Hot-air fixation produces the optimum standard of fastness. The following temperatures and dwell times are recommended : 4-5 min at 150°C or 2-3 min at 160-170°C.Superheated steam fixation should be carried out for 5 - 7 min at a minimum of 160"C. This method also produces a good standard of fastness but somewhat inferior to that of prints fixed with hot air.

High Solids concentrated synthetic thickening agent for printing of cotton and viscose with Reactive dyes
Chemical Nature: Acrylic Co-polymer, Anionic
Features
  • White viscous liquid
  • Swells rapidly in water under normal mixing
  • Miscible in water in all proportions
  • Has instant and powerful thickening action
  • Non-hazardous
  • Stable on storage for long periods
Benefits
  • Exhibits excellent electrolyte stability
  • Correction in viscosity of stock paste can be easily achieved by back addition of the product
  • Desired viscosity can be achieved by lower dosage since the product is concentrated
  • Does not require extra swelling time to develop its full viscosity profile
  • Results in good color strength, color brilliancy and soft handle
  • Exhibits good running properties
  • Results in good levelness of prints
  • Stock pastes prepared with Leomine Thickener RTC does not require filtering.
Ecology
According to our experience Leomine Thickener RTC does not exert any harmful effects on health provided they are used as per our recommendation. Does not contain APEO / NPEO.

Storage
Leomine Thickener RTC has a shelf life of atleast one year if stored in its tightly sealed original packing at temperatures between 5°C and 35°C in a dry place. Drums should be tightly resealed each time the material is taken from them, and their contents should be used up as soon as possible after they have been opened. Should be protected from moisture.
